Home page design proposal

What design choices have we made?

Firstly, VerseOne would like to thank you for viewing the new South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust website design proposals. A few things worth noting; the realisation of these designs into the VerseOne CMS will allow for flexible re-positioning and re-ordering of the page elements. VerseOne work with re-usable components to allow their customers to create varied and engaging page layouts and content. The designs presented use a mixture of re-purposed images, placeholder text and wording yet to be fully approved. The focus therefore is on how the Trust is conveyed, and the page look and feel.

For the homepage, we have a bold alert bar for key information. An urgent help option in the navigation strip. A feature-rich top hero section, with mini slideshow and journey signposting which leads immediately to a site search and a services A-Z.

Moving down, South London and Maudsley value propositions are accented in a checkerboard pattern, and the Maudsley Charity is highlighted. We finish with partner logos and a full footer with additional menus.

We use a mixture of NHS gradiented blues and the more characterful South London and Maudsley purple to put a unique stamp on it. Sometimes with a subtle gradient also. Photography is intended to show the community through both representative imagery of people and also key places in the surrounding geography.
