How our service can help you
Lewisham Liaison team is for people, aged 18-65, the service provide a
comprehensive assessment and liaison service to people who are
experiencing mental health difficulties who attend the Emergency
Department (ED) and who are admitted to the Clinical Decision Unit (CDU)
of UHL.
It provide assessment and advice on treatment of people who have been
admitted to the medical, surgical and obstetric wards at UHL who are
experiencing mental health difficulties.
Liaison also provide assessments to people who present with co-morbid
presentations of either substance misuse or physical issues, and mental
health difficulties in the ED and wards with severe mental illness.
