How our service can help you
The Supported Living Team provides a community mental health service to
people who live in a variety of low and medium supported housing
projects in Southwark.
Our aim is to promote the recovery of residents, helping them
stabilise their health and maximise their use of the support available
so that they can move towards independent living.
To do this we provide psychological, social, vocational and medical
interventions to residents to support their recovery. We also support
housing providers to maximise the quality of care and rehabilitation
provided to their residents. We provide a flexible outreach service to
the housing projects adapting to the needs of the staff and their
residents. This includes regular drop in sessions, link working, and
attending residents or staff meetings as required.
We work as a team of health and social care staff including nurses,
social workers, doctors, psychologists, vocational and welfare rights advisers.
