OASIS (Outreach & Support) - Lambeth & Southwark
OASIS is a health service for young people aged 14-35, who are experiencing psychological distress. These experiences might include:
• Struggling to cope at school, college or work
• Preferring to spend time alone, away from family and friends
• Feeling anxious, irritable or depressed
• Changes in sleeping and eating patterns
• Confused or muddled thinking
• Feeling that things and people seem strange or unreal
• Constantly thinking about particular ideas or beliefs
• Unusual experiences like seeing or hearing things that other people cant.
We provide care for people living in the London boroughs of Lambeth, Southwark. Our team includes Psychologists, Doctors and Key workers. We offer individual and family therapy, medical consultation, and practical support with issues such as housing and finances.
Our aim is to reduce the risk of difficult experiences becoming worse, and to improve peoples wellbeing. We hope to help people get their lives back on track and move forward in whatever ways they consider most important and meaningful.

Older Adult Continuing Specialist Care Unit
The Greenvale Specialist Care Unit is a facility in Streatham and is commissioned to provide treatment for older people with predominantly complex organic mental health problems.
The service provides 24-hour care for older adults (65 and older) presenting with a complex mental health conditions in a community-based setting.
This service is specifically for service users who could not be safely treated in the community due to the high risk of harm that they pose to themselves or others because of their continued behaviours but who do not require continued admission in an acute psychiatric ward.Address: Greenvale Specialist Care Unit

OPTIMA Mood Disorders Service
We are an outpatient programme for adults with bipolar disorder who have recently had several hospital admissions for an affective episode. The service is modelled on a Danish Mood Disorders clinic and aims to reduce the risk of recurrence and readmission to hospital.
The programme has two main phases. The core programme, designed to consolidate recovery, provides individually tailored psychoeducation, regular psychiatric review, occupational therapy, physical health assessment and a newly developed cognitive pathway and group psychoeducation provides a 10-session programme of learning, peer support and self-management strategies for bipolar disorder.
Where appropriate, carers are provided with support and new for Autumn 2021 is a family and friends psychoeducation group.Address: McKenzie Annexe

Parent and Infant Relationship Service (PAIRS)
The Parent and Infant Relationship Service (PAIRS) is part of Lambeth Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).
Our service is available to expectant parents and parents with babies or children (up until their fourth birthday) who live in the Lambeth Early Action Partnership (LEAP) areas of Tulse Hill, Stockwell, Coldharbour and Vassall.
Our team aims to help parents who may be feeling overwhelmed, feel a dip in confidence, and struggle with new responsibilities. We can help parents who may also have challenging feelings about themselves, their partner or even their baby or toddler at times.

Pathway Homeless Team (Kings Health Partners)
The team can support patients regardless of their local settled connection to an area in the UK, including those from abroad or without a connection in the UK
Patients are accepted if they meet all the criteria:
¥ 18+ years old
¥ Patients who are rough sleepers (not suitable for the START Team) living in homeless hostels, B&B, sofa surfers or who have nowhere to go on discharge
¥ Patients with any form of mental illness
¥ Regardless of a settled local connection
¥ Patients currently admitted to a Lambeth or Southwark hospital ward
The team doesn't usually work directly with patients who have a care coordinator either in the community or on admission. They will be happy to give advice and signposting where this required as we appreciate that situations and services can be complex and challenging to navigate.Address: Main Office:

Peckham Befrienders
Peckham Befrienders is a Black & Minority Ethnic (BME) people (aged 18-65yrs) who are currently receiving care from our Trust
The aims/objectives of Peckham Befrienders: are to increase the social networks of our service users. We do this by providing a space for Service Users and Befrienders to form friendships within a befriending framework. We operate a group approach to befriending.
Our twice weekly drop-ins offers a space for service users to access, support and befriending, culturally appropriate meals and other activities such as: Indian head Massages, support, talks and presentations on a host of subjects (e.g. how to look after your Heart, Diabetes, and controlling stress) and our reflexology service.
In addition to services we offer we are also looking for people from the BME communities who want to become volunteers.
To access Peckham Befrienders services people can be referred by CHMT's, Doctors, Social Workers, CPN's, or by self-referrals.

Perinatal Service
The Perinatal Mental Health Team is a multidisciplinary mental health service for pregnant and postnatal women with severe and complex mental illness.
The team aims to prevent, detect and treat perinatal mental health problems. We work to improve the experience of pregnancy and the postpartum period for women and their families, as well as early life experiences for babies.
Women at risk of relapse in pregnancy and following delivery are assessed early in pregnancy to allow them time to consider the treatment and care options available. The Perinatal Mental Health Team works collaboratively with women, their families and other professionals to plan care during pregnancy and the early postpartum period.
The Perinatal Mental Health Teams work jointly with adult mental health services already providing care for a woman when she becomes pregnant. We work in partnership with maternity services, children and families’ social services, primary care and other Trust mental health services.
Our service consists of psychiatrists, psychologists, perinatal nurses, perinatal nursery nurses, midwives, occupational therapists and administrators. The service works with women who cannot be effectively managed in primary care.

Persistent Physical Symptoms Research and Treatment Unit
Our service is an internationally recognised research and treatment unit, which provides a specialist diagnostic assessment and treatment for people with persistent physical symptoms. This includes fatigue, pain, irritable bowel symptoms and non-cardiac chest pain. We have developed models for understanding and treating persistent physical symptoms and continue to be at the forefront of research and development in this field. We offer specific treatment for chronic fatigue, irritable bowel syndrome, fibromyalgia as well as other persistent physical symptoms.
We also treat fatigue in the context of long-term conditions such as cancer or if people have finished medical treatment but continue to experience symptoms. Our evidence-based treatments are routinely evaluated.
