Top footballer sends festive hampers to Ladywell Unit
Top footballer Tammy Abraham arranged festive hampers to be delivered to staff at the Ladywell Unit at Lewisham Hospital.
The gifts were welcomed by staff who have experienced another challenging year providing mental health services during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Tammy Abraham, from south London, is a striker for the football club Roma.
Ward Manager Lucky Ukueku, said: "Thank you so much to Tammy Abraham for the wonderful hamper and extra surprises he sent to the Ladywell Unit; they have really brought the Christmas spirit to Lewisham."
