Jacqui is a Disability Inclusion and SEND Consultant and honorary Senior Lecturer in Inclusive Education at the University of Sussex where she Co-Directs the Autism Community Research Network Sussex (ACORNS). She also works on disability inclusive education projects internationally (Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia) – designing teacher training modules for inclusion.

Jacqui is a very experienced teacher, trainer, facilitator and mentor in the field of inclusive education, autism, special educational needs, learning disabilities, social inclusion, disability and neurodiversity. The focus of her PhD was the transition experiences of autistic young people who also had learning disabilities.

She also has lived experience of parenting her autistic and learning disabled son.
