Building Your Capacity to Deliver Tier 2 Training
As each part of the Oliver's training needs to be delivered in partnership with lead trainers and co-trainers with lived experience, to deliver Tier 2 training, organisations will need to develop a training team comprising of both lead trainers with specialist learning disability and autism experience and co-trainers with a learning disability and co-trainers who are autistic.
On successfully completing our four-day Tier 2 Train the Lead Trainer training, participants will be able to deliver the following Tier 2 training options within their organisation,
- Tier 2: Mandatory Training, also referred to as Tier 2 one-day Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism
- Tier 2: Train the Trainer (Facilitating Trainer), also referred to as OMMT 2-day Facilitating Trainer Training. Trainers completing this course can then go on and deliver the Tier 2 one-day Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism.
- Tier 2: Expert with Lived Experience Co-Trainer Training (learning disability) also referred to as OMMT 3-day co-trainer training for people with a learning disability. Co-trainers completing this course can co-deliver the learning disability session of the Tier 2 one-day course.
- Tier 2: Expert with Lived Experience Co-trainer Training (autism), also referred to as OMMT 3-day co-trainer training for autistic people. Co-trainers completing this course can co-deliver the autism session of the Tier 2 one-day course.
The four-day Train the Lead Trainer course is for people who aim to become Lead Trainers and deliver all the Tier 2 options above to other professionals.
